GOLF SCORE CARD IS SHAREWARE AND MAY BE FREELY COPIED & DISTRIBUTED

GOLF SCORE CARD IS A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM WHICH ALLOWS THE USER TO 
ENTER EVERY ROUND OF GOLF WHICH HE/SHE HAS PLAYED.  THE PROGRAM THEN 
OFFERS A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT ANALYSIS FEATURES WHICH WILL CHART ANY 
(HOPEFUL) IMPROVEMENT IN THEIR GAME.

To setup Golf Score Card, type File and Run from the Program Manager.
Next type A:\SETUP.EXE if the installation files are on your floppy 
drive or else type the path to where you have downloaded/copied the 
installation files.  Follow the on-screen prompts, selecting where you
want to install the files.

When you first run Golf Score Card you will be presented with a screen
prompting for your name and current handicap.  Enter this information and
you will be shown the Shareware details of this program, including 
where to send your $10 registration fee.  You will also be shown your
individual user code.  

The program allows ten rounds to be entered, after which time a
password must be entered.  This password will be sent after the program
has been registered.

IMPORTANT - WRITE THIS CODE DOWN!  YOU WILL NEED IT WHEN YOU DECIDE TO
REGISTER THE SOFTWARE AFTER 10 ROUNDS HAVE BEEN ENTERED.

Golf Score Card also creates the following data files:
USER.TXT
COURSES.TXT
ROUNDS.TXT
USERCODE.TXT

The file USERCODE.TXT contains a copy of the the user code which should
be sent with the registration fee.  Although this can be opened and
read, it should not be changed as the password I return on registration
is based on this code.

Please Note: V1.2 includes fixes for the date in non-British countries,
and also the program crash which occurred when data was entered on the
first of the month.
